When did you buy the house and why did you decide to buy this house?
I bought this house in 2015 but the decision to buy this house was actually taken some time before by my parents. They sold their house in the center of Amsterdam at the time and were able to buy a house in the east of our country and this apartment instead. I was eventually able to take over the apartment from my parents and moved in with my boyfriend. The decision to buy this house had to do with a number of factors: the neighborhood, 2 bedrooms, a balcony, an extra storage room downstairs and a very decent house with a healthy VVE.

What makes it so pleasant to live in this house and in this neighborhood?
The location of the house is fantastic. It is very close to the Oosterpark and this part of the east has a very nice mix of different types of shops and restaurants. This mix is ??a reflection of the residents who live in this neighbourhood. The apartment itself is spacious in size for 2 people and has the possibility to sit outside at the front and back. As a result, you can sit in the sun almost all day long; until about 4 p.m. on the balcony and in the summer from about 5 p.m. on the gallery side, so you can have a drink / dinner here in the sun. The 2nd bedroom is also a very suitable space to work, which of course came in handy over the past 1.5 years.

Why are you leaving/why is the house for sale?
There are a number of reasons for us to move. First of all, we wanted to live a little bigger with a view to the future. In addition, a unique opportunity came our way to take over a house from acquaintances who will move out of the city. Finally, this offers us the opportunity to buy a house together, this was an important argument especially for my friend.
