In the best location of IJburg: sunny, quiet living with everything close by
Living on the Zwanebloemlaan on the green Grote Rieteiland is truly a pleasure. With a sunny southwest-facing garden, four spacious bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, two bathrooms, energy label A+, a private parking space with provisions for your own charging station, and a nearby beach, this is a perfect family home and an ideal spot for water sports enthusiasts.
Everything is within easy reach. Within walking distance you’ll find IJburg shopping center with its popular Saturday market, the entrance to Diemerpark with hockey and football fields, a tennis club, numerous primary schools, and public transport connections to the city center and Amsterdam Zuidoost.
From this very spot, we made friends, learned how to SUP, swam on summer evenings at the “stone beach,” and watched the sun set at least a thousand times. Our children grew up here, endlessly playing outdoors.
The city at your feet
At the beginning of Zwanebloemlaan, an area consisting solely of owner-occupied homes and mainly low-rise buildings, lies the entrance to Diemerpark. Cycling past the sports fields, you can cross the Nesciobrug within 5 minutes and reach the vibrant Javastraat or the Watergraafsmeer in exactly 15 minutes, with its lovely shops and cozy cafés. Several secondary schools are also located here.
Tram stop Vennepluimstraat, with a direct connection to Central Station and buses to Zuidoost, is just a 2-minute walk away, with a travel time of approximately 15 minutes by tram. The city is closer than you think.
IJburg boasts Amsterdam’s only true city beach, currently with several beach cafés and more to come. The inner harbor, with its lively terraces surrounding it, is truly unique.
A little further—yet still close—on Zeeburgereiland (8 minutes by bike or 2 tram stops), the prestigious silos will soon open, housing the Rialto arthouse cinema. Construction of an indoor swimming pool offering children’s swimming lessons is also set to begin.
Nature
Diemerpark, practically your backyard, stretches out extensively here. The southern side of the park forms part of the ecological corridor connecting Amsterdam and ’t Gooi. From here, along the old sea dike toward Muiderslot Castle, you can enjoy beautiful walks and bike rides through nature along the IJmeer.
Sports
On IJburg you can join, among others, a tennis club, football and hockey clubs, a boxing school, water sports association, and surf club. There is also a wide selection of gyms.

Leasehold (Erfpacht)

Association and charging station
A homeowners’ association manages the rear access path and the secured parking area, which includes a private parking space. The monthly contribution is €17.47.
